Monies recovered as a result of successful
False Claims litigation can be substantial.
(Please see Our FCA Practice). The individual
who initiated the action is entitled to
a portion of the recovery;
if the Government intervenes in the
case, the amount shared
is usually 15-25%.
If the case proceeds successfully without the Government's
intervention, this percentage
could be higher.
These awards are not automatic. The extent
of assistance offered and the actual key
evidence provided,
among other factors, may effect the whistleblower's share of the award. |
