Mr. Barnett-Howell’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property and antitrust issues, as well as False Claims Act litigation. Since joining the firm, Mr. Barnett-Howell has been part of the team representing Benjamin Carter, a whistleblower who exposed government contracts fraud by Kellogg Brown & Root in Iraq, as well as other whistleblowers under the False Claims Act, including those with claims against pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, and corporate entities. Additionally, Mr. Barnett-Howell has helped represent a major manufacturer in an antitrust and trademark action, and provided internal compliance and regulatory assistance for a national corporation.

While in law school, Mr. Barnett-Howell interned with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office ‒ Medicaid Fraud Bureau, the Criminal Appellate Practice Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School, and the Wisconsin Innocence Project.
